Keynote speaker Bob Marchant, President/CEO of Modo, Inc., will share his insights into successful entrepreneurship in his presentation titled: “Changing Strategies - Giving up the Dream to Find the Dream.”
Modo, Inc. (www.modocarts.com) is a global design and manufacturing firm that specializes in mobile furniture for medical technology. Since founding the firm in 1987, Bob has led design and development projects for clients including: Medtronic, Philips, Haemonetics, and GE Healthcare. Modo’s work has earned numerous design awards including IDEA, ID Magazine, IF Hanover and Good Design. His 15 minutes of fame arrived with the October 2002 issue of Inc. magazine and a cover story titled: “Driven by Design”. Prior to joining Modo, Bob was President/CEO of Pro Form, Inc., a former subsidiary of NIKE that designs and manufactures fitness equipment (now part of Ikon Fitness). Bob also worked as a management consultant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers specializing in high technology business formation. He has a BA from Vassar College and an MBA from Columbia University.
