Join us for the season’s last PubTalk before we take a summer hiatus and reconvene in September. This last event in Central Oregon’s lively PubTalk series is Thursday, June 14th, 5:00 to 7:30pm, at McMenamins Old St. Francis School, in Father Luke’s Foundation Room, 720 Bond Street in Bend.
We’ve assembled an all star panel of investment gurus for a spirited discussion of investment trends in and about Central Oregon. Panelists are Vic Petroff of River Lake Partners; local angel investor Robin Gould; and local management consultant Mike Osborn. Wayne Embree, Managing Partner of Cascadia Partners will moderate, asking the panel to lend their insight and expertise to topics such as these:
- What does my business plan need to look like?
- Should I approach an angel investor or venture capitalist?
- What are the best methods for raising the right kind of capital?
In another departure from the norm, PubTalk features the winning business plan team from Pam Stevenson's OSU-Cascade's New Venture Management class. Young entrepreneurs compete for the opportunity to present at PubTalk and local business leaders Dan Hobin, Giancarlo Pozzi and Erick Petersen make the final selection of the winning team prior to June’s PubTalk event.
2007's PubTalk series title sponsors Ball Janik and Community First Bank are joined by supporting sponsors Access Knowledge, LLC, Bend Venture Conference, Alpine Internet Solutions, and media sponsor, The Bulletin.
